Bristol's operations are focused into three business units:

• the Aerostructures business unit specializes in the manufacture of metal and composite aircraft structural components, design of aircraft tailcones, and design and manufacture of the Wire Strike Protection System
  
  
• the Aeroengine business unit specializes in the manufacture and repair and overhaul of engine components
  
  
• the Defence and Space business unit manufactures the CRV7 rocket system, Black Brant sounding rockets, various other rocket motors, and designs, manufactures and integrates small satellites and manned space payloads.
